r e a l i t y

i'm a girl who likes snowboarding, bearded men, playing drums and sweets. currently an exchange student in japan.
most of the entries are only for friends. languages finnish&english.

just leave a comment and add me if you feel like we share some stuff in common and want to chat about - well, anything.

only a few people are reading my journal so this won't be a big deal, i think .. but yea, from now on this journal will be in english. there are two reasons:

1. i don't get to write in english that much here, except for copying sentences. i've forgotten how to write long texts (essays etc.) in english independently (not 100% sure if that's a real word) so in order to get the vocabulary, grammar etc. back, i thought it would be a good start to start writing my journal in english.
2. after i graduate from high school my plan is to go to a "language trip" (know the organization called EF?) which also includes media&arts studies. guess where i wanna go? well? that's right, london. and it will be super a-w-e-s-o-m-e.
so writing this journal in english will be a good practice for the future as well.

AND, and, now non-Finns can understand what i'm saying, too! as if anyone's interested .. ;_;

today... nothing interesting. my school's exam week started but i didn't have any tests today, so i've been just hanging in this lovely library like i always do when the smart kids are working hard. i studied a bit for tomorrow's english writing test (which requires only remembering pieces of texts and sentences, there's no independent writing at all). i came to school at 8.30 and i have time 'til 18.00. now it's 13.45.

well, the time flies when you have fun with the text books and papers and notebooks and internet! </sarcasm>

this morning i got brave and sent some lyrics to my band's guitarist. they were the first lyrics i've ever written, but he said that they don't suck and he'll be using them. he's an awesome dude. i already bought some souvenirs for him. first i couldn't think of anything to buy and just panicked, but then i just happened to find some stuff by accident. there're still many friends to who i haven't bought anything yet. by the end of the year, i think i will have spent all my money on the gifts for my friends.

i bet no one's gonna be even that happy about my returning to Finland, they just want the souvenirs.
